There are three things you need to build a good sales funnel that pumps out cash day in and day out… finding a good product or service to sell online, creating a sales message to sell it, and driving traffic to the sales message…

Finding a Good Product or Service To Sell Online
If you don’t already have a product you should check out this video on finding profitable niche markets… if you already have a product or service you’d like to sell online then let’s make sure of one thing before you set out to create a sales message…

Your product of service is supposed to solve a problem…

Nowadays, with the internet competition is fierce, but even if it wasn’t you would want to have the absolute best product or service that you could possibly deliver. This is a MUST… a requirement if you will, if you want to write good compelling copy without hype or other unethical practices…

Creating A Sales Message
A good sales message simply states an offer to solve the problem(s) of your customer in the most simple, clear and concise format possible.

This could be as simple as “Horse for Sale”… to writing an 8 page sales letter or 30 minute sales video.

The difference?

There are products for which you don’t need much information to buy. Many consumer goods like milk, candy, etc., don’t need much explanation other than letting the consumer know it’s for sale and for how much…

Other products on the other hand may have features the consumer may not be aware of that can help make sales… Say you are selling real estate and are offering your services as a listing agent. You don’t just want your potential clients to know that you sell houses… you may want to let them know about the different ways you go about selling the house, from marketing online, using automated tools like 1-800 numbers with pre-recorded messages so buyers can get information on the house 24/7, securing financing for the buyers, staging, etc… that may require more explaining and it should be part of your sales message.

When you exclude details your potential customers should know you decrease conversions. If on the other hand you include everything that in someway benefits your customers and appeals to their self-interest then you will increase conversions in your sales copy or sales message.

Drive Traffic To Your Sales Message
Once you have a good product and an offer that converts prospects into customers what you need to focus on is driving targeted traffic to your sales message.

The absolute fastest way to drive traffic to your sales funnel is to advertise, period. Most beginner internet marketers want FREE, (who doesn’t), but the cold hard truth is that unless you advertise you will NOT grow business fast.

You may eventually, but it can take 3 to 4 months just to get good traction with free SEO methods. A year or so to actually see good traffic that brings in casual sales…

So focus on advertising… if done correctly it is cheap… watch this video on how I went from paying around $60 per real estate lead to 14 cents a click on Google AdWords or about $6 per lead!…
